After being active for 10 years in Leeuwarden and the surrounding area under the names West Coast Swing Noord-Nederland and Solo Dance/Modern Line Leeuwarden, as of July 2026 we are switching to a new (joint) name for our dance studio offering various dance styles: Sicora. Otherwise, almost everything remains the same. The West Coast Swing and Solo Dance offerings will continue, in which we hope to keep growing. The bingo nights will remain at "MFC Het Westenkwartier". The range of socials, workshops, dance bootcamps, and events will be expanded.

Sicora is a modern space with dance as its primary focus, specializing in West Coast Swing, located in the Northern Netherlands. But we do more, including Solo Dance/Modern Line. As the only dance venue in the region offering West Coast Swing, the international partner dance, Sicora brings people together in an open, energetic, and inclusive community.
Sicora stands for fun, movement, and connection, where dance is viewed not only as a technique but as a form of expression and social interaction. With fresh and contemporary branding, Sicora targets both existing members and a new audience.

With a modern and playful visual identity, Sicora aims to remain attractive to both current dancers and the new generation, and to position itself as the place for West Coast Swing and other styles in the Northern Netherlands.
